Hello everyone..
I'd like to know -
what cable section should be with a three-phase asynchronous electric motor power of 132 kW, at a voltage of 690V, and with a cable line length of 800 meters. I know that there is a calculator, but I would like to find a formula for calculating the cable section.

you need to calculate current per phase to start with . Then determine volt drop for that load and length. If over 5% then up the cable size to suit.
