flashing lights

Does anyone know how I can flash the house lights when the telephone rings.I have wired an extra switchwire to each switch and connected the two feeds into l1 & l2 with the light switch wire into the common.My problem is what type of relay do I use to switch them and how to I get it to switch from a telephone signal.

clients are deaf ,not really sure why they need to know the phone is ringing ,got it sorted for smoke dectectors and door entry ,I have just seen a relay which should do the trick unless anyone can come up with a different way.

the telephone ring voltage is 118V ac. so a relay with a 110 coil should do. however, it would be better to fit something like a flashing strobe light.

I think the ringing voltage used to be 75vac in the uk, and 50vdc for analogue transmission. Did they change it (or I might be mistaken)
