UK Fluke 1664 MFT issues

Hi.

I have just purchased a fluke 1664fc MFT and it wont work. I can turn it on but that's it. It's completely unresponsive, I can't even turn it off. The only way to turn it off is to remove the batteries. I have tried replacing the batteries but this hasn't achieved anything.

Is there a way to do a forced restart or something?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If it’s off eBay , I would return it to the seller via ebays guaranteed returns policy

the seller has to refund you in full of the item was sold as working

If this was an e-by bought item, be aware that if you paid by PayPal and start a PayPal claim, e-bay will wash their hands of the problem, stay with the e-bay guaranteed returns policy procedure.

It's wasn't an eBay sale, I've got no way or returning it. Any ideas how to fix it?

These people fixed one of mine once. To be honest I've moved away from Fluke MFT's now as I had a succession of issues.
