Yes. I did the single one but the double bares no resemblance to the connector on the old fitting

What’s the problem you’re having with it mate?..
Don’t have a clue where the wires go I forgot to take a picture of the original so now have no lighting

Sorry mate, probably have a good guess from the pics but with out some test gear it’s a bit tricky, and it’s not right for us just to have a shot over the Internet, you need to get a spark I’m afraid mate

if it was a single switch, we would have had a good enough idea to guide you probably.

however what you have there is a modular combination of an intermediate switch and a 2 way switch. (deta)
I am guessing this is located in the hall?

I know some professional sparks that would be scratching there heads trying to work that lot out.

p.s. the original switch (deta printed on it) is different to the new switch and will never work correctly, no matter how you wire it up.

Hello, did you get your problem sorted?

That’s the new switch.

That’s the original
Then you have bought the wrong switch, one side of the original is an intermediate. This now makes sense with all the conductors in the box. As stated, you need an electrician, 10 minutes tops.

That’s the only type they do and they claim it’s easy as no earth needed. But diagram shows less wires than I have as it’s two way switching I have 7 wires and as I’ve now forgotten where they went I can’t even get original to work without tripping out the box

Then take it back Gab, you have been miss-sold.
You'll need to go to an electrical wholesaler to get that I should think.
