I am an experienced electrical engineer consultant in building services, and I am looking to expand my professional horizons by taking on side jobs during weekends or bidding on new projects. With 5 years of industry experience under my belt, I feel confident in my abilities to deliver excellent results.

However, I am seeking advice from the knowledgeable community here on how to go about finding these additional opportunities. I would greatly appreciate any insights, tips, or suggestions you might have to help me kickstart my side business.

1st things first, get a quote for insurance.
think about how you are going to do your book keeping.

the best leads come from word of mouth but be careful, you might upset your current employer if you are undertaking similar work on the side.
