GU10 LED lamps fitted externally in IP 65 fitting

Hi, anyone know or had an issue with LED GU10 lamps in an external fitting failing?

Fittings installed with lamps last year, job been delayed with Covid, just started to power up and find half not working, they are twin up/down lighters, most of the ones not working are the uplighters, can winter affect these?
Also have a similar issue with 20w LED floodlights, (time guard) that a large percentage of each fitting are out. Again new and first powering this week.

I have two ideas, winter? ! or someone has tested cables at high voltage and blown LEDs, appreciate and ideas.

TL;DR

Did you supply the lamps or did they come with the fittings?

Have you swapped working lamps around to rule out faulty fittings?

Are the floods pointing up?

I watched something, can't remember where, that explained the failure mode when LED floods point up.

Water pools around seals and seeps in and freezes opening the seals.

Don't know what's going on with the GU10s though.

Hi, many thanks, Bought the LED GU10 lamps separately, from the fittings. Yes the fittings are fine, work with a replacement lamp. The LED floodlights are all pointing down, no sign of any water, damp in any of the fittings.
