Just a quick one I'm looking to install these in a kitchen under some units, I want to wire them using a switch on the wall, however every website I've seen shows them wired with a plug, is it possible to wire them using conventional wiring or do they have to have a plug on them?

thanks chris

I'd like to wire them on a 2 way circuit ideal, the only way around removing the plug I can think of is by cutting it off then wiring it into a switched fuse spur.

Thanks huntos, how did you wire them up? Did u run power into the driver then take the switch wire out of the driver as well? Thanks chris

Switch wire and neutral to the driver, then you buy fly leads which push onto the led strips and conect into the driver, your local wholesalers should be able to help, I bought it all as one kit but I had a lot to install so may not be the cheapest option for a few in a kitchen
