While doing a EICR I found that the lighting circuit and the socket circuit in the flat are fed from different CUs.
The job is in a residential home.

Different Phases, or all on the same phase?

Are the boards clearly marked or associated paperwork, also anyone isolating the sockets/lighting should be following normal safe isolating procedures so what risk do you see here?

It is common on larger building to have a dedicated boards for power and one for lighting, it's just not common on the domestic scene.
I see no issue if the boards are clearly marked and the circuits are otherwise safe and compliant.

I have a customer with a 4 gang light switch, fed from 3 different CU's

Thanks for the feedback guys, I am going back on Saturday and will check. There have been a lot of add ons over the years.
Pete I will have to confirm if the CUs are on the same phase.
