Just having a bathroom fan installed. It's an intelligent unit that runs continuously but thought it best to have an isolator switch.
Have been told the isolator switch has to be outside the bathroom on the hall wall above the bathroom door.
We would prefer to have it in the hall cupboard (located next to the bathroom door) - are there any regulations that prohibit this?
ALSO - having a spur added for eventual addition of a PIV unit in the (separate) toilet. Is it within regulations to put the isolator for this inside the toilet room (containing a WC and small hand basin).
Again - any regulations against this (or advice on a better solution than having switches above the doors in the hall).
Thanks
