Hello first time here site looks good. Need to install main bonding at a school, gas and water aprox 80m away from dis board. Wanted to check size of cable to use. Do i need to increase size from 10mm.

What do the regs say ? I have not checked but I think you will find it says that once the neutral conductor is up to 35mm csa then the earthing conductor must be equal to the neutral. therefore main equipotential bonding conductors must be half the csa of the main bonding conductor or the next nearest size csa up from that. So, if you have a 50mm neutral conductor you would have a 50mm earthing conductor and therefore a 25mm main equipotential bonding conductor.

Do check the regs though.

Regards

SC
