Hey all, anyone know the max conductor size for an mcb?

If you mean what is the largest cable size that you can get in the terminal, then it depends on the manufacturer. Ranges between 35 to 50mm for domestic sizes.

Never seen a 500mm pin lug but worth giving it go just for the fun.

Once came across a 180mm2 connected to a short bit of 25mm2, to get a connection into a 32amp mcb.

What was it fused at?

32amp. Feeding outside toilet block with water heaters at a semi pro football ground. The block was about 400m away from the db, so it was sized because of volt drop. The reason I was called in ? Someone chopped, literally, the cable live, where it came through the wall and ripped it from the cleats along the top rear of the main stand and then chopped it again as it went underground. Nicked about 80m of the stuff. Guess who!
