Hello

Hoping somebody can help. I have a Megger MFT1552, whenever I turn it on it beeps and flashes 138v (detecting voltage) Even with no leads attached. Has anybody came across this before?

I had trouble with my 1552, sometime the sleeve where the test leads plug in come out a little with the leads giving false readings. You can push the outer sleeve back in using screwdriver gently.

I had something similar with my 1730 on continuity testing, leads attached but not connected to anything.

It was a problem with one of the terminals and had to go back to Megger. £280 later it can back fixed.
