I have 200amp connection, with the meter and service disconnect at the road (see pictures). House panel is about 75 feet from the service disconnect at the road.

1) Assuming I need 4/0-4/0-4/0-2/0 AL wire sizes (considered a sub panel), exactly what type of wires are required to run from the service disconnect at the road to the panel inside the house? Getting a lot of confusing answers between URD, SER, SEU, etc.

2) Can the same wires be used to connect directly from the service disconnect to the house panel, i.e. no additional junction box, etc at the house?

3) Do I need to run this in PVC Conduit along the entire stretch, or just underground until it reaches the points where it comes up?

Thanks,
Scott

I think that you need to install a 200 amp panel on the outside of your house and run your cable to it and then sub feed your inside panel. As far as wires goes you can use SE cable which is approved for under ground use. Can you not talk to the power company and relocate you meter. In the 2020 edition of the NEC you have to have means to disconnect your power from outside your house. The NFPA requires that for the fire department in case your house catches on fire they can disconnect your power
