Hi I am new to this forum came upon it by way of chance i am from South Africa and am a qualified electrician I am at present refurbishing various machines for a number of industries and I am looking for a suitable software program to document and draw wiring diagrams for the circuits I wire up.What i have in mind should be something relativly straightforward perhaps I could attach a page or two from a German built machine, could you suggest something Thanking You Mike :)

Hi Mike

Never used it myself but I believe a popular one is AutoCAD Electrical although its not a cheap software. Here's a link:

I use Visio, pretty simple to use.
The reflected ceiling diagrams come in handy for working out spacings for spots on dodgy ceiling shapes.

What version are you on mate, because i'am not geeting on with 2007 at all. just wondered if it's just me. cheers
