Hi! We recently moved into a new mobile home and want to install a few smart switches. I know about installing box as these are not self contained like the old switches. My issue is understanding the wires. Below is my setup in the walls. Both switches control the light independently now. I don't really care which switch I replace as the smart switch.

1. Which switch should it go on? The one closest to circuit breaker or the end of libe switch? I'm assuming the one coming from the circuit breaker as that one has a ground wire that is not hooked up currently.

2. And which wires go to which location? I know the white from the panel is load and the black is neutral then can not get my head wrapped around the wires going out to the other switch/lights. Looks like red is the main load carrier so L1 or does it get hooked into the wire nut with load from the panel? Then where does the black and white hook? 🤔 Help a girl out please!
