Discuss moving bathroom light switch in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Re read your original post and £20 per switch is expensive

I reckon its what we call in the trade " pricing yourself out of the job"

We do this when we get a feeling someone wont pay or will be twisting about the full amount, sometimes if the jobs a right ****ty awkward one too

I reckon its one of the first ones

why would i want to do that, the problem is trying t find one that gives seasonable quotes,i have had one already who quoted £20 per switch to change chrome light switches to plain white and i wanted 5 done.

Because they won't burn the house down with you and your family inside???? 20 quid per switch, ive charged 15, so it's not too bad. maybe he couldnt be bothered because your the type to moan no end at the price, you have no idea of the overheads of a company, the registration fees etc, plus then the time taken to do it.
