Need to get new EICR after installing EV Charger?

Hello everyone!

I am curious to know if we need a new Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) after installing an electric vehicle charger at our property. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? Any advice would be appreciated. The most recent EICR was only issued in December 2022.

No. The installation certificate supplied by the installer of the EV charge point will suffice, as an addendum to your existing EICR.
