I think he's just pulling your chain, or trolling as its now called. I had someone dumb, not hard I know, who joined about ten years ago and posted or commented about three times, one of which was to dumb me :D

@jdtae has been a member since 2010 - yet hands out a dumb - and their post contribution is ................ 7

They should be deleted;)

did a child wire those cables in.
Did you pay £500 for the job?.......

Why should I. You’ve given out 79 of them and I bet you didn’t explain them all.

Ok fair enough but why do you feel the need to ask for explanations if someone decides something you say is dumb. I rated yours as dumb for the simple reason that a member should not be deleted due to only posting 7 times in 8 years. There are always members on forums who prefer to read the threads rather than contribute directly to them.

Did you look at the post I got given a dumb for ?

#28 to save you searching

Yes I’d already seen it but again different people have different views on different things and that must be his personal opinion.

In @Murdoch defence @Sintra , when you view @jdtae profile, it looks like nothing constructive comes out of the ratings he/she give out, especially when there are a lot more negative ratings than positive.
I don't agree with banning, but the rating system could do with looking at.

Tbh the rating system has more positive than negative options. No one knows how other people are thinking at any particular time. My point to this is that we all have to respect others opinions without wanting in depth explanations.

Not against people having different opinions, it's just that the last 3 ratings (Old, Bad Spellings & Dumb) should be scrapped. Nothing good comes from them.
If I post something and someone thinks is Dumb then I'd prefer them to explain why. That way, if I'm being dumb, I will learn from it.... I learn nothing from someone just hitting the Dumb rating..
