there is something like this thats been out a while think its called bladerunner never used one though as i saw a few people make a right balls up of swa with it.would be good to know which one is best though for future reference

Yes I had one but it was crap. This one looks like it can cut in both directions and is built to last. Not cheap but quality never is.

I really fancy buying one as I do a lot of SWA in my job and have been using a Bladerunner for the last 2 years with good and bad results.

However £90 is just too much of an outlay at the minute with it been a relativly new product. When I find more positive feedback on it I will probably purchase one then.

The Bladerunner I use cost me £20 from City and is a good little tool but I hate the segmented blade that sometimes snags, also the tension dial on it gets a bit difficult to turn. The thinkg with the Bladerunner however was that for £20 if I didn't get on with it I could have easily binned it with very few tears :)

The SACS looks very well made and I like the smooth blade, will definatly be looking out for reviews on here. When I finally make a purchase I will post a review on here with some pictures.

Bit blatant, could have linked to the main site.................."I wanted to develop a product that would eliminate mistakes and reduce injuries," explains Martin Barrett, managing director of DiMart...........

for 90 quid i had better stick to the hacksaw till there is some feedback or free trials on it.
i would be happy for a trial and give feedback afterwards, :)

About 20-30 quid for the unbranded version and around 50-60 quid for the Knipex branded one, had it about 3yrs stops the potential of scoring the inner cores on SWA and Hi-Tuff.

Anyone got one of these yet. Looks like the solution to the problem.

Thinks me get 1.

I think that you might have just lost several potential customers by showing how dishonest you are. Posing as someone who has nothing to do with the product (very badly too!) is a sure way to rub people up the wrong way. You'd have been much better to just say here's my product, this is what it does, this is why it's better at doing the job and reassure us that there's a quality service if things go wrong. Posing as just another forum member who's stumbled across your product, saying you might buy one and then slating your competition is not a good way to do business and shows that you're untrustworthy and certainly not the sort of person I'd want to have dealings with! Hopefully you'll learn something from this and re-evaluate your marketing techniques.

Alternativly you could just appologise, explain how you are just trying to plug your brand and then offer us members here a nice discount so we can test it and then (if it is as good as advertised) help promote it for you.
