Hi Guys,

i came across an old MEB service head the other day when carrying out a landlord check, I've not come across one of these before and could do with knowing what type of fuse is normally in them please, it's just the BS number for my paperwork.

i have attached a picture

The picture does not appear to have come through.

Very old heads may have a BS3036 semi enclosed fuse.
Generally any other service head will have a BS1361 fuse (now BS88-3) or a BS88 fuse

It looks to me to be three-phase, in which case it definitely won't have a fused neutral.

If you can't get to see the DNO fuse you can't "guess" what it is.

Your EICR should either "lim" or N/V the entries for the main fuse.
