my RCD has been tripping on and off for weeks now, electricans couldnt find any faults in the fuse box and they replaced the RCD switch twice! Yesterday the electricans came and replaced my metallic sockets back to plastic plain sockets and my RCD hasnt tripped once. I dont know a lot about this but would the metal sockets interfere with an RCD switch? It probably didnt but my RCD hasnt tripped once since they were changed and im curious would this have anything to do with it.

Can you keep this to your original thread to save confusion.
