Priced up a job today. Homeowner had new bathroom fitted 2 yrs ago, but the "electrical guy" on the builders team said the electrics were in a mess and wouldn't fit the downlighters that they had brought with them.
What the "electrical guy" had failed to tell them tho was that he had bought the wrong size lights and they were too small for the existing holes. !!!

They promptly cut and run.

Tell me about it mate, I got a phone call yesterday asking me how much I charge for a c/u change.
When I give him my price he asked me why I was so cheap seeing the other sparky told him £1400.

Why worry charge what you want do a good job some folk want audis other a second hand van. I cant see what all fuss is in UK about charges you charge what you want and if you do it right and your happy then good on ya
