Hi chaps. Can someone advise me whether it's possible for excess solar generation to back feed into a neighbours property if the two houses are on a looped supply? And presumably if it is possible, could this neighbour potentially then be charged for what would be imported through their utility meter? Thanks in advance for any help.

It doesn’t work like that.
Usage from grid is measured at both properties. Generation from PV is measured at the property with the PV.

In simple terms you ‘pull’ electricity so the neighbour will only pay for what they are using.
The concept of extra generated electricity being pushed through their cut out isn’t a valid one.

The loop is connected before your neighbour's meter, not after.
