its just I have a job and the gaffer ordered 240v 32A wall mounted plugs to go on the side of site cabins to power up the cabins but 1 of them have 2* 7.5kw showers + 2Kw water heater as i am only agency i am not wanting rock the boat, i was just wondering if the socket would melt or what

What would happen if i used a 16Amp socket?

And its a 63A not 64A lol

Calculate your max demand/diversity etc and select a plug which suits your needs. Always going the bigger side of what you need. Simples

Oh and make your leads out of HOR7N cable. I hate seeing S.W.A and SY rammed into a plug as the sheathing isn't earthed!

Are we talking about a single generator supplying all these porta cabins or individual generators for each site cabin??

So these site cabins are on a boat???

Different rules and regulations apply to Marine Work.

Are you sure you're qualified to work on boats?

Don't worry too much about the sockets melting - the water will keep them cool.
