Quote for PI insurance

may I ask how much p.a. your paying for PI insurance? I have a quote for £440 which is a bit steep.

I pay around £110 for 5M cover

I have Self Employed Tradesman's cover from the Co-op, the £250 premium covers

Property damage £2,500 (includes mobile electronic equipment)
Stock £1,000
Public and Products liability £2,000,000
Commercial legal protection £500,000
Loss of money (theft) £250,000 cheques / £1000 cash
Assault (during theft) compensation £10,000

So if anyone wants to mug me to steal that £250,000 cheque and £1,000 cash I was about to bank, and drop my testers during the process, there'll be a drink in it for you

My proffesional indemnity insurance is through NAPIT insurance £172.00 a year for £250k, i think some of the above quotes are for public liability not proffesional indemnity.

Not got Professional Indemnity insurance anymore, but it's more expensive than Public Liability!
