Sorry to be a pain gents - just filling my brain matter with info.

Are there any special requirments when testing and inspecting RCBOs?
Are they vulnerable to testing in any way? or any special requirements needed when testing?

Thanks All

I have come across two pole RCBO (the ones whithout earth wire) they didn't like the insulation test at all. Forgot the make, and it was in an industrial environment.

Yes, they are very often used in those 16A blue industrial socket units with integrated RCBO and isolator switch, they actually don't test an earth leakage, the 'compare' input current with output current, if the difference is 30mA or more then they trip.
