Hi while working in a local restaraunt i noticed there is no rcbo's or rcd's protecting the kitchen.
am i right in thinking all circuits in the kitchen and cold store should be rcbo protected?
also toilet hand driers, sockets in the bar and also outside water feature.

varied old and not so old.
Hi,
if you are doing any alterations or additions it is quite likely that you will be issueing an EIC or a MWC, and "the contractor shall record any defects found in the existing installation"

and all your aforementioned rcd absenses sound like worth bringing to the owners attention, and I
think I would suggest to the customer that he gets a periodic inspection report carried out to identify possable defects and departures from regulations that may give rise to danger to the public, his staff or maintenance personell such as yourself.
