Hey what kilowatt showers can be feed off 6mm cable and which need 10mm? I guess the distance from the fuse board also needs taking in to account?

Shocking that it is allowed to happen. I just got banned for starting a harmless thread in which I even said I was only joking. It will be interesting to see what is dished out after reading some of these replies.

I have to laugh because I spotted the error straight away and I'm sure a few others did.

Ideal opportunity to dig you out though, if your that way inclined, nice little cover.
 
not wrong, IMO. yes, i know that the lower the voltage means a lower kWage. what i meant was if you calculate from the quoted kW @ 230v you will get a higher value for A than if you'd used 240V. as in I=P/V
