I have a client who has requested a smart immersion switch as she works away in the week and wants to heat the hot water for her return. Can anyone recommend one?

Quinetic do a 16A capable WiFi enabled wireless unit that may be worth looking at. If you're a bit concerned about running it near capacity for a long time, maybe go for a 6A version and use that to switch a 20A contactor.

Don't know how the Quinetic App works though... whether or not the phone running the app needs to be connected to the same network as the switch.

Pretty sure the quinetic stuff can link up to Alexa/google so can’t see why you couldn’t operate remotely, used they light switches recently and was really impressed with the ease of set up ?
