wasnt the original string about wiring up his power cicuits? or have i had one too many..

Possible on 2 cables from hub to TV and 2 from dish to HUB but 3-4 are better.

It all seems to be getting overly complicated.Can all this a/v stuff not be
performed wirelessly?(might do you out of a bit of work)

Yep you can do it all wirelessly, but you can do power wirelessly!
