Heres some of the old gear that i get to see, and sometimes i have to rip it out and replace.
Solid, dependable and ugly, but its craftsmanship at its best!

the one with the red bricks and tiles is an old pumping station/treatment works situated in a valley in east sussex. all of the brickwork and tiles are original from the 1850's. Its still running, and theyve just added new buildings. there is still the old plans from when it was built, but they are covered with a PVC cover, and i couldnt take a photo through it.
I do enjoy wandering through these places and being nosey.

Hehe, the old Morris crane, our shift team used one of them to change an 800HP motor. We were knackered by the end of the shift.

The gear looks to be from the 60’s with EE switch fuse units. Nice to see the stuff though.
