Hi
Can i spur from a 32A ring final at the mcb with 2.5mm t&e? Is this within the regs? I think it is but just want clarification pg 159 osg says you can connect at the distribution board.
Thanks

you can spur from ring circuit . 1 unfused connection at any point and unlimited if fused connection unit is fitted before first point..

like above said fine from board max one single/double s/o from a breaker with a ring in it

But is a spur right from the rcbo ok?

Best way to look at it is to draw it out - if you think about it, the point where the two 'ends' go into the MCB are, in fact, like any other point on the ring where you might feel more comfortable about your legal spur. It's just that they are at the Dist board as well.

In fact of all the places sometimes it is a GREAT place to put the spur
