Thanks. We have just added 1.5KWp to an existing system and E.on are telling our customer he should have had an additional meter fitted while we says it will be prorate
E'on are causing us loads of problems lately mainly with threats of stopping fit payments if our customer's don't forward photo's of their generation meters shortly after they(eon) have read them.
You can either have a separate meter or a single one with the generation split pro rata. It is the clients choice. It is all in the legislation and guidance which is worth understanding if you need to argue with eon.
You do need to be careful if the added panels are in a less effective position and the earlier ones have the high fit rate. You would lose out by pro rating by kWp.
