Today could'nt get any better

Got a call from my old boss last night asking me to quote and do a job this week because he's tied up. Did the quote for a kitchen rewire plus a c/u change, a dream of a job. Access under the floor, plasterer is making good, bonding in place already, IR test on the rest of the house is good, everything about this job is easy. Gave them my price on the spot they accepted and gave me half the money up front there and then! Then they asked me to look at a few other little jobs at his sisters house, (this is just getting better and better). On the drive back home my old boss tells me about his night out with the lads to Newcastle tonight for a mates birthday and asks if I want to come? Of course I do. Gets better, he then says thanks for taking on this job for his friend of a friend and as a thank-you to me he's paying for my night out hotel, drinks the lot Paul m is one happy chappy today

I know it will end up being messy! Haven't been to the "toon" for a night out in 8 years, do they still have that ship as a nightclub?

its gone mate...plenty of other places to go tho,stay away from that newish place riverside i think its called,full of chavs who like to fight...
