Hi!

I’ve installed an rgb strip light to a friends house with a dropped ceiling and I did expect some voltage drop but not as bad as it is, the problem I have is

1. I have ran 2X 2 core 0.75mm2 cable from the carcass unit where all the sockets and less driver is in, into the wall and comes up out of the ceiling so that if there was ever a fault on the LED strip which there usually is on cheap strips then it doesn’t run through the wall and damaged the rest of the circuit and I can just replace the strip from the connection I have in the ceiling! So a basically have 4 cores of cable to do what I need to do!

2. I have voltage drop!!! The colour is different towards the end!

I had this problem in my van when putting them on the roof for internal light but I just made it a ring which was simple but I’m unsure how to make a ring with this led strip bring rgb and having a controller will it mess up the colour sequence?

If possible I’d love someone to explain what’s the best method to me in baby language so I can fully understand or a quick drawing would be great! ?

cheers guys any helps appreciated
