hi

one of the gangs of sparks on site were working on are going for there part p.
we are with elecsa
they asked us who was best to join and what one has the most relaxed/easy on site asseament
were all for elecsa but just wondered what everyone else thought??

The general consensus seems to be Elecsa are the most approachable and easiest going of the schemes.

i went withNapit very easy going that said i have also had assesments with niceic and eca both ok slightly more questions with niceic

Definitely ELESCA, they are interested in your background not to catch you out but to assess your knowledge and then help you with any problems you have. Their technical help is very good as is their admin dept. Switched to them after no response from NICEIC after 3 emails. Agree with deafboy they do ask a lot of questions.

Hi I am a NICEIC qualifying supervisor and have never heard of ELESCA is it something to do with the E.C.A. ?

you been hiding in the cotton wool Padded NiCEiC box for last 5 years! WOW...! i only been a "Part P" registered Spark for last 8 Months (although slightly different Elec and Mech background for much longer) and i do my homework when looking at trades and requirements.. that also includes Gas/Plumbing, Joinery and Playing Card makers..!

but yes as Lenny has said (Part of the ECA) they are Public Enemy NO.1 to the NiC now!!

Maybe you are too busy, going around inspecting and testing the various jobs being done by unskilled folk who may be on your employment roll to have the time necessary to become aware of the other alternatives to that very flawed organisation :)

It has been rumored that Niceic Qualifying supervisors, on rare occasions  actually dont carry out this vital function

You pulling my plonka?

It doesn't matter how loyal you maybe to the NIC, no one will belive that

Presumably he was being pedantic about the spelling? ("ELESCA" as oppossed to the correct "ELECSA"). Seems absolutely rediculous that with the position he holds he hasn´t heard of his main rival...
