Hi all,

Odd question of the day :: they're going to cut power to my street tomorrow... all day long.

I get internet connection through phone line (DSL) and would need to keep the router going during the power cut. Need it for work.

How can I keep the router going? 12 V battery with ac/dc adapter? Not sure how long it'd last. Any ideas?

many thanks,

Pete

Forgot the whole street was off. Doh. Ok, longer cable same principle, just next street. Or lamp post. Unless someone's charging their car from it obviously.

out in the sticks, that thing probably runs about 5 days a year on average.
awsome in the winter when you realise that you are the only one on the street with heating
