Aldi cable rod kit

Just thought I'd let you lot know - cheapo cable rod kits are on sale at Aldi this week for £6.99.

Got one today. Not great quality but at that price, don't feel too bad about breaking / losing them in cavitys.

Hmmm, thanks for the heads-up on the special offer but the problem starts when you lose one in a conduit. Cable rod are one of the things I'd rather avoid buying cheap.

And wear eye protection when using them. I've seen cheapo cable rods explode when bent.

bought some of these when Aldi offered them last year, since then around 3 have snapped along with the threads snapping

other than that ideal for them jobs you dont want to use your best ones on, well worth £6.99 even if you get 1-2 years from them!
