Does anyone know the enforcement Date for amendment 3

There is no enforcement date for BS7671, but I believe it is released early next year and all work will have to comply with it by June or July next year.

Had email today from IET indicating November this year.
The National Wiring Regulations Committee, JPEL 64, will confirm changes to BS 7671:2008 by 1 November 2014. Introduced on jan 1st 2015. and becomes the new standard for compliance from 1st of June or July 2015 can't remember which. Between those dates either version can be used.

I always keep a few designs I did to the 14th edition in the bottom draw and bring them out for any new work Im doing now but was designing back then! Saves all this messing about with disconnection times, RCD and connecting cable to these extra-anus bits. Just earth it through the water pipe, job sorted and such a better earthing system ......
