O

oldtimer

Has any worked with Atlantic immersion heaters they are a French mob but their UK agent went bust so I am looking for a couple of things one is anybody got a contact number for them yes I can G**gle but I would like to ask a technical question.

The set up is a ceramic wire wound heater (a bit like an electric fire) that slides into a 50mm steel tube the heater is 400mm long the resistance is 19 ohms so thats ok but if you megger between LN & E it is a dead short when I took it out the tube I noticed the inside of the tube was wet with what looked like condensation ie if it was a leak then I would be looking for a lot more water.

Also this is the first time I have come across this type of immersion heater so any pointers woild be nice.
