I feel bad. I gave a first year apprentice 300mm of Cut 35mm cable. I said “Hold this carefully, it’s still live” Kid was petrified hold a piece of cut cable in his hand.

Despite most scousers being theiving gits with a victim complex some of Liverpool is genuinely stunning.

Have told this before, not so much asking but doing something dumb. Was in a factory tracing a lost phase and asked the lad to check some BS88 fuses. He came back saying all good. I said are you sure because to me one of those fuses is duff, he rechecked them and no all fine. Not being convinced I checked one and sure enough one was duff, show me how you checked them I asked and he did resting them on top of some galv trunking
