Lately I seem to be finding loads of these sites springing up that promise upon payment of £x they will find business for you, or they will give leads each costing however much.
My question is does anyone have any experience of them and are they worth investing in?

I joined localtraders.com - they promised much for around £100 for 6 months - delivered nothing. They said they would be advertising on tv etc, haven't seen it. Won't be renewing it when it runs out soon. Haven't got a single job from it - not one! Too many of these websites, people either don't know about them or don't know which one to use.

IMHO you might as well set fire to £50.00 notes.

Invest you money in decent flyers and go out leafleting - at least this way you'll know that the message will get to some people. Conversion rate is about 1 in a 100 so be realistic and target the right areas.
