Discuss Connecting SWA 3 phase private main to DNO box on garden wall in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Client has agreed with DNO to re-locate a main 3 phase cable so that it does not go under the garage. I will be connecting a 3 phase SWA cable (25mm) to DNO's panel on the garden wall. When I look at MCCB set ups the panels are going to be too large!.

Can I put a Hagar TP&N into a Keadra box mounted next to DNO's panel. The Keadra enclosure is IP65 and has a din rail inside. Measurements seem OK. This is a domestic installation.

The 3 phase will be needed:

a) at the house where there is substantial laundry equipment. and

b) a 3 phase kiln in the garage.

The 3 phases will be split in the house to feed two C.U.s and a shorter 10 mm SWA will run to the garage for the kiln.
