DNO Cables Running Under Soffit Across Houses...

Just wondering what your thoughts are about this before I renew the facias/soffits/guttering.
Any help would be appreciated as it's my sons new house.

there nowt wrong about DNO lashing a cable to the house ,its better to have them strapped to the wall or a great big pylon in the garden ,are you going to stick the table and chairs to it and the brolly .get on with it .lol.

Are the cables visibly damaged or looking brittle?
if so report it as a safety concern to your electricity supplier.

Contact the DNO, they'll move them out of the way.

Depending on what part of the country you are in they are known as under eves or mural wiring. If they look ok the DNO will probably leave them, or if they are a bit dodgy they may replace them with a concentric cable. A lot depends on local policy.
