The SAP2005 - SAP2009 saga is, frankly, a f**king joke! One of the most fundamental issues to get right for the REAL is to ensure that people are trading fairly. Therefore the estimated yield is surely one of the most vital aspects of the pre-install process to ensure that the customer isn't being misled (deliberately or otherwise).
I'm sick to death of seeing false SAP figures from other competitors and the next time I see it I will report every single one of them to the REAL and MCS. The SAP figures are woefully inadequate in my opinion but at least they can give the customer an opinion-free indication of how a system should perform.
We supply SAP figures AND PV Sol Expert figures. PV Sol Expert figures are often higher and often lower than SAP figures - depending on location, shading and panel choice. We give no figures more weight than the others - we simply explain how we arrived at each figure.
The fact that something so simple as choosing SAP2005 or SAP2009 has become a matter of 'debate' is an industry joke in my opinion and the REAL, MCS and NICEIC should be ashamed that their inability to make a simple decision is making a tricky area open to abuse.
