Layed off!

Final work day today after being layed off last week upon completion of apprenticeship, gutted tbh cant find another job for **** and just got a mortgage! anyone else in same situation?

Tell me about it, me too most of my college class got layed off as soon as they finished.Some even before they completed..

you could ask your old employer if you could stay on the same wage until the UK sorts its self out, pay rises at the moment are hard for all employers. A few of the lads I worked with are doing factory jobs at the mo until things pick up just to make ends meet.

Already tried pal they said no work about so im down the road, id rather stay in the trade tbh otherwise ill end up falling away from it,
