Hi,

I currently have 4 JCC LED down lights in my bathroom with a 2 gang dimmer on the outside.

The first dimmer switch controls the LEDs and the second is just a push on and off for the bathroom fan.

The current module for dimming the LEDs is a BG TRAILING EDGE DMTR. When this is down low it is still very bright and I would like them dimmed a lot more.

Can someone please advise of a better dimmer switch/module to enable the lights to be dimmer when all the way down.

Thanks
J

First check the fittings are, in fact, dimmable LEDs….

I’ve fitted Varilight v-pro dimmer switches without a problem, but even dimmable LEDs aren’t always compatible with every switch, and vice versa.

Sometimes it’s down to trial and error to get a good combination.

Check with JCC to see what they recommend, although as post #2 V-pro better than most once you get the hang of their programming!

As above. I always fit varilight v pro dimmer switches. These can be programmed (fairly easily) to bring the brightness down as low as you want.

Yet another reason to use cans rather than integrated LED. With GU10 cans you could fit lower wattage lamps.
