I got a rcd 30ma 80amp to install, I have no cables to install it, were will I get them says 35mm flexible on the instructions and 50mm rigid.
Those sound like the maximum the terminals will take.

Usually the RCD will feed a bus-bar, do you have arrangements for that?

The supply cables (and neutral out to the separate terminals block) have to be sized according to the max current it can expect to carry, that might be limited by the sum of MCBs, or it might be limited by the DNO fuse.

Realistically for 80A you need to look at 16mm as the starting point.

ye that sound good 16mm thanks very much mate, think they call it a split load kit as well.

MK used to sell a cheap kit - though not sure if the new company does.

Though in a LeGrand board I wonder if they would get funny about type testing...

This is where having a garage full of all the old boards that have come out pays off..

are you familiar with the correct methods of determining minimum size?

you are registered as a trainee, are you suitably trained to install, test and certify this work?
16mm was given to you as a starting point, it may be suitable, it may be undersized.
