what is bookkeeping?
i plead insanity. You know at the end of the Year when your Accountant says bring in your books and you take him the shoebox full of invoices, well that's book-keeping.
Oh hang on you probably use the Ken Dodd system, pay up if caught.
Not sure how to pose questions in the correct format but my first question is.Just saying hello. I've joined this group to seek advice as I am new to this lark. I'm doing bookkeeping for an electrician
the sub contractors will claim for fuel, same as their other vehicle costs. your son claims back for the allowance that he's paid them, along with wages. Not sure how to pose questions in the correct format but my first question is.
If as a sub contractor my son pays mileage to his sub contractors. Then who claims the fuel used in the actual receipts that they purchase, them or him, or no one ?
Speak to AdminNext question is how do I delete a post ha ha as I appear to have duplicated
Jobs not done till the paper works are complete, if he is employing sub contractors, then I would maintain that the payment of travel to and from the jobs will be down to the Sub contractors which should I imagine be reflected in the price offered to your relation, not down to him to pay them travel time and money. Note I have always worked on the books so I have never had to deal with this issue, but to me it seems more of a common sense thing, if someone agrees to do some work for me and gives me a price, that price is accepted then the Subby takes responsibility for travel cost. IMO
Thank you.. if you pay hourly, would you pay for hour lunch breaks ?
