Hi all
Thought I should sign up after spending a few days reading some really informative posts on here. This certainly seems to be a very friendly and helpful forum and i look forward to hopefully gaining some valuable knowledge from the wealth of experience on here.
Well I have just started college as a *cough* mature student so they say, I don't agree as i'm only 29, still young lol. Its a big change for me and a big juggle aswell as I have gone back full time, another joke on the colleges part as I wouldn't call two and half days full time personally, anyway I digress. Juggling family time, fitting in work and gaining some on site experience is going to be a challenge in itself.
This is my first step into the electrical world I have no previous experience but I decided I needed a trade instead of just a job whilst doing something that would provide a challenge too. The opportunity came up and it was a case of now or never. I have started a level 2 electrical installation course.
Up until recently I was self employed and employed, mainly as a carpet cleaner but also working within the inflatable industry hiring and manufacturing bouncy castles, which I am still involved in part time (keeps the roof over our heads).
Think that covers it all
cheers
Richard
